Deleting OS password using backtrack.......

ermmm....i actually not a god talker..but now let me show u how to delete ur os password.......if u noe what i mean...:P
are you ready?here are the steps.....



1.you ask your friends to change your password...and then you ask him/her to go home and dont bother to ask what password he/she key in...haha....

when you try to key it in...but you cant get it rite............

2.you shud shutdown your PC and run backtrack,I mean...shutdown ur PC and then insert cd/flashdisk and boot it...
3.After booting it...u can change the background into what u like...:P



3.after that RUN chntpw inside
Backtrack > Privilege Escalation > PasswordAttacks > Chntpw



4.next find the SAM file...........
THEN CLICK AT.......
                                           chntpw -i [ alamat file SAM ]

EXAMPLE  : chntpw -i /media/sda1/Windows/System32/config/SAM

BUT before that change the name sda1 to disk.....and add SAM after /config



then CLICK ENTER.....
after that something like this will appear.....



then insert 1........to edit user data and password...and insert the username that wish to be reset...

next,after as below appear..press 1 again for option CLEAR(blank)
 user password


after the cleared password text appear...insert the username again...

 

click 4 then ENTER for the unlock option and enable user account[probably] until UNLOCKED! text appear.
then key in "!" to exit...


then key in q and ENTER...then UR DONE...:))


restart your windows and U will strat without any password inquire...:P
